Wildlife at The Alpaca Park

We asked Devon Wildlife Trust to assess our work and advise us on the very many aspects needed to provide such important habitat.  They have been extremely supportive and share our excitement in having so many different categories of grasses, flowers, butterflies, birds and mammals here especially in our Culm fields.

Our passion for the care and protection of our native wildlife is paramount. You will not find any penned or caged wildlife at The Alpaca Park.  We strive to strike a balance between being able to observe the rich collection of wildlife that live on and around The Park and allowing them a safe, free to roam existence. Hence, we do not guarantee that you will have the pleasure of seeing the many varied species to be found here but encourage our visitors to record any sightings or tracks seen in our Wildlife Inventory to help us and others keep track of the population.

Having enrolled in their Award Scheme in 2006 we have worked hard to achieve 2 prestige Gold Awards from them.

We are happy to be approached by any groups or individuals to arrange private walks around The Park.
